Mustang Mach-E
The Mustang Mach-E
The Mustang Mach-E was first introduced in November 2019. Fast forward to 2023, and Ford is currently producing 5 different trims. The trims that are currently in production are: Select, Premium, California Route 1, GT, and new in 2023; the GT Performance Edition.
Select
The Select trim is the base model and is loaded with 18″ carbonized grey-painted wheels, a 15.5″ touch screen display, and more. Since the Mach-E is an all electric crossover SUV, it is also equipped with a frunk. As there is not need for a gas engine under the hood, the frunk allows for extra storage space. Next, the Select gets an estimated 230 miles on one charge. Ford offers the Ford Connected Charging Station, which can be installed in your home for more efficient charging. This charger can fully charge your vehicle in 10.9 hours and offers 48 amps of charging power. When you get home for the night, you can just plug it in and it will be charged and ready to go in the morning.
Premium
The Premium trim is the next level up from the base. It comes with all of the select features, with some upgrades. This trim offers 19″ wheels, a panoramic fixed-glass roof, heated front row seats, and a heated steering wheel.
California Route 1
The next trim up from Premium is the California Route 1 trim. Just like the previous model, it has all of the base features with a few upgrades. This trim has power folding mirrors, a pony puddle lamp (pictured below), and wheel lip molding. Also, the California Route 1 trim is set to get an estimated 312 miles on one charge.

GT
Finally, the GT trims are the highest of the trim levels and have some pretty cool upgrades. The GT comes with 20″ wheels, an upgraded secondary electric motor, red pained brake calipers, illuminated front pony badge, a B&O 10-speaker sound system, and Ford BlueCruise 1.2. Ford BlueCruise 1.2 is a hands-free driving software that includes lane change assist, predictive speed assist, and in-lane repositioning for extra safety. Also, the GT has 428 pounds of torque, making it the fastest of the trims thus far.
As for the 2023 GT Performance Edition, the only big changes are in the name: performance. This trim can get 0-60 in just 3.5 seconds. In addition, it has 480 horsepower and 634 pounds of torque. This makes it the fastest of the trim levels. The Mustang Mach-E has three different driving modes: engage, whisper, and untamed. These help to adjust the steering, throttle response, acceleration and deceleration, stability control, efficiency, and final drive. Because the Mach-E is electric, it doesn’t have the sound that the other Mustangs have with acceleration. The untamed mode gives it that Mustang sound.
