Evasive Steering Assist

Evasive Steering Assist takes over when braking alone is not enough to avoid a collision. The system only activates when the Pre-Collision Assist system detects a vehicle ahead and initiates active braking; it must also detect you turning the steering wheel in an attempt to steer around the vehicle. It won’t steer for you but will give you a helping hand by making your steering quicker and more accurate. It’s designed for emergencies and helps you react more quickly, potentially preventing accidents from happening.

Long road trips just got simpler with BlueCruise, Ford’s hands-free driving feature. You have over 130,000 miles of Hands-Free Blue Zones on North American highways.
