Community Involvement | June Events

We give willingly to and are actively involved in the support of our community, because it provides us our success.  We had a busy month in June partnering with many organizations to give back to our community.  Here are a few events we are proud to be a part of.

PBR Rodeo

Where the toughest cowboys come to conquer the toughest bulls.  A true match between man and beast.  Held at the Kalispell Fair Grounds on June 3rd.  A family friendly event for the entire community.  Kalispell Auto Group was proud to be a title sponsor for this event.  We had so much fun handing out T-shirts, cowboy foam hats, cowbells, and hand clappers.

Driving Hope

Driving Hope Montana is a non-profit organization that helps members in the community in finding transportation.  Robert Bradford dedicates his time finding applicants, repairing vehicles, and finding safe, reliable transportation for individuals.  Thanks to our Toyota Service team we were fortunate to donate a 2007 Toyota Sienna to a single mother and her two sons.

Flathead Valley Food Bank

We work with the Flathead Valley Foodbank throughout the year in partnership with the backpack program.  The backpack program sends children of need home with food for the weekend.  But what about the Summer months?  Resource Officers from the Flathead Valley Sheriffs office had the idea to send home meals for the Summer as well.  During the last week of school volunteers from Kalispell Ford, Kalispell Toyota, and Kalispell Volkswagen worked hard to pack around 1,000 bags of meals.  With help from the Flathead Valley Sheriffs office, we then went to each school to deliver the food the children in need.

Casa Golf Scramble

What is CASA?  Court Appointed Special Advocates® (CASA) are community volunteers, just like you, who stand up and speak out to help abused and neglected children.  CASA for Kids advocates for abused and neglected children by providing a voice, healing the hurt, and breaking the cycle of abuse in the child’s life.  In 2020, 104 advocates served 344 children in Flathead and Lincoln County.  The annual Golf Scramble event helps to raise money for this amazing organization.

Youth Baseball

We love supporting children in our community.  We sponsor many baseball teams including Columbia Falls, the Lakers, and have a Toyota team and Ford team.
